Guest Speaker : Dr.Robert Oelsner Description of Presentation / Discussion: This presentation will consider theory and technique that may help the therapist understand and deal with the turmoil and stress that is usually associated with the treatment of narcissistic patients. The presentation will include an overview of object relations theory, which provides a way to understand the psychological structure of the narcissistic patient. The presentation will then go on to describe the strategies, tactics, and techniques used in carrying out therapy with narcissistic patients. Audience interaction will be strongly encouraged.
